To stay as present as possible! It is so easy to get caught up in the planning and decisions that need to be made, but we did our very best to stay as focused on each other and our marriage as possible.
This 5 acre property has many picturesque spots that will make your wedding day easy to capture and enjoy. You also get two extra guests at your event! Their names are Buddy, a miniature longhorn, and Larry, a miniature Brahma.
I highly suggest NOT doing anything DIY. Spending the money for someone else to do it was definitely worth it. Also, find a planner/coordinator who does what YOU (the bride) wants – NOT what your family wants or who is “paying” for the service.
Ask every question you can about bar, parking, and rainy-day backup plans. I wouldn’t stress over the small details that guests might not notice. Overall, don’t forget about YOUR experience and putting effort into you enjoying your day. My final advice is to remember that the day is about you and your spouse. Put your energy into each other.
Embrace the wedding planning journey and special moments and events leading up to the big day. This only happens once. Remember that in the end, it’s the love and commitment that you and your partner share that truly matters. So be present, intentional, and have fun celebrating your LOVE!
The outpouring of love and support from our family and friends was heartwarming! They truly made it the best day. I also loved getting all glammed up with my girls and doing a first look with my dad!
