As first time being the mother of the bride, I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful my experience was working with Bev! Not only is she extremely professional, she is patient, humble, knowledgeable, creative, accommodating (oh and I can’t forget problem solver 💯) and the list goes on! The times my daughter and I spoke of Bev and how much of a joy she was to work with and what a great lady she is came up quite often! Starting from the first day she toured us in her golf cart through the venue; we were sold! She will be with you every step of the way. The venue is breathtaking and I can speak just as highly of her staff. They’re wonderful people through through. I can surely say I was never stressed the whole day of my daughter’s wedding, I was able to take it in and enjoy every moment of it!!

On the day of the wedding, the site was perfectly maintained, the reception area stunning and all staff did a wonderful job. Everything flowed perfectly from the ceremony outside to the happy hour on patio and reception inside. We received so many compliments on the space. The get ready cabins worked out well, yet I could see how it may be tight on space if you have more than 4 bridesmaids and family - we had hair and make up in its designated room and also spilling into the kitchen area. Willow Ridge is a wonderful new venue in the Hill Country and we're so happy we found it.

Willow ridge is a gorgeous venue and Bev, the venue manager, is the absolute BEST person to work with I cannot praise her enough!! She is so sweet, accommodating, and helpful and truly helped me with the wedding of my dreams! I am so thankful we chose Willow Ridge! Not only is the venue amazing but having access to Camp Fimfo was so cool and so much fun as well! Candice, our bartender, was amazing as well! We had a great at our drink tasting where she curated the exact drinks we were wanting for our signature drinks! Overall have your wedding or event here, you will not be disappointed!! We recently got married at Willow Ridge and we cannot say enough about how AMAZING it was!! The whole experience was fabulous. Bev was so wonderful with accommodating all of our needs, communicating with family and our coordinator, and being so kind/ welcoming through it all. The bar staff was awesome and the drinks were greaaaat, the honeymoon suite and the groomsman/ bridal cabins to get ready in were so cute and we loved the golf carts that were included. The venue is gorgeous and the camp offers a wide variety of amenities that actually comes with the wedding rental. Highly recommend to anyone!! I really can’t say enough good things.

FAQ About Willow Ridge
Booking
A non-refundable deposit of $500 & signed contract is required to reserve your date for live painting services. All custom painting commissions done in studio require a 50% deposit. Due to high demand it is recommended to book as early as possible especially for peak Texas wedding season in the Fall. Availability is not guaranteed but in the event I am already booked, please inquire about my custom commissions from photographs.
Consultation
A few weeks prior to your event, I will consult with you about the final details of the big day, including final timeline, floor plans, decor, and all the details that you would like incorporated in the scene. Upon consultation I will create a mock sketch for you to approve the final layout of your painting.
Arrival
The day of your event I will arrive 2-3 hours prior to the ceremony start to set up and begin painting.
Painting Hours
I will paint on site live at your event for approximately 5-10 hours depending on the size of the canvas and the level of detail chosen.
Painting Completion
Your live Wedding Painting will be 80-95% complete by the end of the event. I will complete additional details in studio and the finished painting will be available for pick up or shipping 6-12 weeks after your event. For the exception of Clients purchasing greeting cards, they will have their paintings will have an expedited completion of 2-4 weeks post event.
Accommodations
Some venues such as Churches will not allow for a live artist to paint in the interior. In such cases there are limitations at a ceremony site, I will take reference photos of the ceremony and paint live at the reception. Please designate a 5’x5’ space at the reception with access to an electrical outlet and extra chair. To maintain the top quality of your artwork, outdoor painting spaces can be designated if weather conditions are not rainy, not excessively windy, not in direct sun with over a 90 degree temperature, or in temperatures below 50 degrees.
Final Payment
The full balance for live painting services will be due 1 week prior to your event. All custom painting commissions must be paid for in full upon the paintings completion before delivery
Cancellations
Due to high demand, ALL deposits & money paid towards your painting is non-refundable. If you wish to cancel services, you may use any funds paid towards your live painting service towards a future event or custom commission done in studio.
