Vixen Make Up and Hair team is the best. Before I booked them, i did my research. Their IG stand out to me because it have all the real / no filter / and authentic image, and review. Second, their requirement for minimum booking fit with my budget. I met Amber at the Open House at Lost Mission Venue and felt so right to choose Vixen Team for my big day. They send me a detail schedule, and showed up early for their time to make sure I have plenty of time to finish. They made me the Bride, my mother and mother in law, and all the bridemaids become princess, and the most beautiful girl in the whole world. It make my day and give me so much confidence. I got so much compliments during the reception. What make me happy the most is that my hair and make up turn out even better than the Pinterest i gave them. What else could I ask for? They made the process so fun, and you feel like a price getting ready to see her prince the whole time. I wish I could give them more than just 5 stars. Amber was such a pleasure to work with for so many reasons. During my trial, I had a very vague idea of what I wanted - I showed her a few Pinterest pictures and she was off to the races. By the time she was done, she had perfectly executed a vision that I couldn't even fully articulate. I still don't know how she did it, but it was perfect. She also beautifully incorporated custom hair pins that I had ordered from Etsy. She asked several questions during my trial to make sure I was comfortable with all the choices she was making. She appreciated my feedback and made minor changes on my wedding day based on what we thought after the trial. On the wedding day itself, she and her team made the ladies in our wedding party look absolutely gorgeous. Again - there is some magic in Amber for her hearing an idea and then immediately bringing it to life. I have already hired Vixen again for our post-COVID reception next year. Amber was also extremely friendly and responsive, and I can't wait to work with her again!

I own a wedding venue, so I get to work with a lot of different hair and makeup teams, and although we love a lot of them, Vixen is our favorite! When it came time for my wedding, I knew I had to have them for our glam team! They are able to create incredible looks for each individual, and nailed the natural look I was going for. FAQ About Our Flower Shop
Booking
A non-refundable deposit of $500 & signed contract is required to reserve your date for live painting services. All custom painting commissions done in studio require a 50% deposit. Due to high demand it is recommended to book as early as possible especially for peak Texas wedding season in the Fall. Availability is not guaranteed but in the event I am already booked, please inquire about my custom commissions from photographs.
Consultation
A few weeks prior to your event, I will consult with you about the final details of the big day, including final timeline, floor plans, decor, and all the details that you would like incorporated in the scene. Upon consultation I will create a mock sketch for you to approve the final layout of your painting.
Arrival
The day of your event I will arrive 2-3 hours prior to the ceremony start to set up and begin painting.
Painting Hours
I will paint on site live at your event for approximately 5-10 hours depending on the size of the canvas and the level of detail chosen.
Painting Completion
Your live Wedding Painting will be 80-95% complete by the end of the event. I will complete additional details in studio and the finished painting will be available for pick up or shipping 6-12 weeks after your event. For the exception of Clients purchasing greeting cards, they will have their paintings will have an expedited completion of 2-4 weeks post event.
Accommodations
Some venues such as Churches will not allow for a live artist to paint in the interior. In such cases there are limitations at a ceremony site, I will take reference photos of the ceremony and paint live at the reception. Please designate a 5’x5’ space at the reception with access to an electrical outlet and extra chair. To maintain the top quality of your artwork, outdoor painting spaces can be designated if weather conditions are not rainy, not excessively windy, not in direct sun with over a 90 degree temperature, or in temperatures below 50 degrees.
Final Payment
The full balance for live painting services will be due 1 week prior to your event. All custom painting commissions must be paid for in full upon the paintings completion before delivery
Cancellations
Due to high demand, ALL deposits & money paid towards your painting is non-refundable. If you wish to cancel services, you may use any funds paid towards your live painting service towards a future event or custom commission done in studio.
