The Oaks of Ever After sprang from a daughter’s hope for the hill country wedding of her dreams and her desire to be married under a majestic oak found on a walk one day on her family’s ranch.
It’s not every day you see a bride choose a non traditional gown for their wedding day. When our bride learned of our garden party wedding theme, she decided on a gorgeous pale yellow gown from Celebrations Bridal and Prom that suited our vision for the day perfectly.
Love, Lipstick, and Lashes swept our bride’s hair in the perfect up-do and applied make-up with perfection!
The beautiful floral wrap hanging on the wedding tree and our bride’s wedding bouquet were created by the florist at A Better Fete.
Thank you to Michelle, our violinist, for the beautiful music that warmed everyone’s heart!
The custom invitations by Aly Am Paperie captured not only our overall theme for the day but depicted the old oak that is the very essence of the venue, The Oaks of Ever After.
Our linens and napkins were by To Have and to Fold. Folding napkins in just the right design is a craft. Watching the girls from To Have and to Fold at work is fascinating! The unique table settings were by Cat Haus Rentals as well as the other wedding decorations used. Brooke provides each event with exactly what is needed to complete the overall favor of the affair.
The Honeysuckle Fig catered cucumber party sandwiches, spinach, pecan and strawberry salad with a raspberry dressing, pimento on rye party sandwiches, fresh watermelon with blackberries and mint leaves, sliced French baguettes with an artichoke spread and special garden lavender cookies. Yummy!
Our beautiful wedding cake was provided by Sweet Dreams Bakery! Sugarita baked special flower pressed cookies for our event! Both blended seamlessly into our theme.
Southern Tapsters created our signature drinks, garden party specials that looked as yummy as they tasted!
Heart to Home Calligraphy & Customs made our bar and welcome sign. Each calligraphy order is done to perfection!
We loved having Hitch the Photo Trailer on board for the day! Have TRAILER will TRAVEL!
