Jessica planned the BEST girls night ever! We celebrated Valentine's Day with our best girl friends, made personal pizzas with all the toppings, drank wine, had yummy desserts, and finished the night letting out our creative sides by painting! She thought of every detail from the decorations, to the food and drinks, to the activities, and best of all the time well spent celebrating our love for friendship! About Lazy U Ranch
Welcome to one of America’s most unique venues. For the past five decades the historical Lazy U Ranch has been home to an American family going back six generations. During America’s longest war this location transitioned from a homestead to a respite location for our nations wounded receiving over 24,000 soldiers through the ranch gate during the period of 2011 – 2019. In 2014 American’s built the nation’s only private “living” war memorial providing an indoor facility for the wounded offering a place of solace and healing.
On location is the historical family lodge vacated by the owners in 2017 and now utilized by the Armed Forces Chaplaincy for family overnight respite stays.
Known as the SS American Memorial and Memorial groundsthe location continues to provide respite wellness retreats to active duty and veterans on a weekly basis – free of charge. In 2016 the SS American Memorial Foundation 501c3 non-profit was chartered by the ranch owners to allow future generations to benefit from the unique healing qualities of the location.
As a faith-based location the board of directors has elected to allow private wedding events to help generate additional income providing perpetuity. All events must adhere to the memorial grounds policies.

FAQ
Booking
A non-refundable deposit of $500 & signed contract is required to reserve your date for live painting services. All custom painting commissions done in studio require a 50% deposit. Due to high demand it is recommended to book as early as possible especially for peak Texas wedding season in the Fall. Availability is not guaranteed but in the event I am already booked, please inquire about my custom commissions from photographs.
Consultation
A few weeks prior to your event, I will consult with you about the final details of the big day, including final timeline, floor plans, decor, and all the details that you would like incorporated in the scene. Upon consultation I will create a mock sketch for you to approve the final layout of your painting.
Arrival
The day of your event I will arrive 2-3 hours prior to the ceremony start to set up and begin painting.
Painting Hours
I will paint on site live at your event for approximately 5-10 hours depending on the size of the canvas and the level of detail chosen.
Painting Completion
Your live Wedding Painting will be 80-95% complete by the end of the event. I will complete additional details in studio and the finished painting will be available for pick up or shipping 6-12 weeks after your event. For the exception of Clients purchasing greeting cards, they will have their paintings will have an expedited completion of 2-4 weeks post event.
Accommodations
Some venues such as Churches will not allow for a live artist to paint in the interior. In such cases there are limitations at a ceremony site, I will take reference photos of the ceremony and paint live at the reception. Please designate a 5’x5’ space at the reception with access to an electrical outlet and extra chair. To maintain the top quality of your artwork, outdoor painting spaces can be designated if weather conditions are not rainy, not excessively windy, not in direct sun with over a 90 degree temperature, or in temperatures below 50 degrees.
Final Payment
The full balance for live painting services will be due 1 week prior to your event. All custom painting commissions must be paid for in full upon the paintings completion before delivery
Cancellations
Due to high demand, ALL deposits & money paid towards your painting is non-refundable. If you wish to cancel services, you may use any funds paid towards your live painting service towards a future event or custom commission done in studio.
