Texas Rock House was the setting for this retro themed styled shoot. It is a rustic but elegant wedding and event venue in San Marcos. With a little over five acres, the property provides the perfect country charm for any couple looking for an authentic Texas wedding.

When touring Texas Rock House, Maddie, the owner of Moments by Maddie Wedding & Events, was inspired to create a stellar 70’s themed wedding. She enlisted the help of Brooke with Cat Haus Designs and Rentals and Kristy with KB Flowers to design this retro event.

KB Flowers was able to bring the vibrant oranges, pinks and yellows of the 70’s together with beautiful floral arrangements including a bouquet, pocket boutonniere, arch pieces, and table arrangements. Cat Haus Designs provided gorgeous table décor, fun chairs, and eye catching rugs and of course disco balls. Comal Event Rentals provided our colorful linens that added so much life to the event.

The four tiered geo design cake was provided by Cakes by Danielle. It was a beautiful mustard yellow complete with totally 70’s pink, orange and green hues.

Our stunning models, Elizabeth and Nick, were dressed head to toe by Celebrations Bridal and Prom, a New Braunfels formal attire boutique. Elizabeth’s hair & makeup was by the talented Lipstick and Locks. Our groom’s tan suit and orange bow tie, our bride’s whimsical wedding gown, soft curls and flawless makeup went perfectly with our 70’s retro theme.

Also staying perfectly on theme and helping bring this unique shoot to life was Aly Am Paperie who designed the invitations, stationery and signage. The essential vibrant fringe was installed by Brianna at Radiant Balloon Designs.

Aly Am Paperie showcased a specialty menu provided by Chuy’s, everyone’s favorite Mexican cuisine! We chose their favorite catering menu which includes a yummy salsa bar followed by the perfect entrée, a fajita bar with both beef and chicken fajitas served with flour tortillas, Mexican rice and refried beans!

We couldn’t have put together this groovy styled shoot without the help of these fabulous New Braunfels and Hill Country vendors!

Paul & Kat with Mobilboheme captured every important moment of our day. Have a look!
