The Equinox Inn at Canyon Lake was the site of this inspired garden tea party styled shoot. Our day began with a tour of the beautiful grounds surrounding the quaint inn everyone is talking about. For small weddings with forty guests or less, there are two different outdoor ceremony sites in which to choose. Provision can be made for an indoor ceremony should the weather be a problem. The care given to decorating each guest room is immediately evident. The ambiance is welcoming and soothing. It invites you to relax and leave your troubles behind. The private balcony from the bridal suite provides a stunning view of Canyon Lake and the surrounding Hill Country. Darrin, our host, wears many hats. She greets guests, provides delicious meals, creates remarkable florals as part of the total package for events held at the venue.

On the day of our shoot Bill, The Balloon Guy, added his festive balloon art that greeted us all as we arrived.

Our hair and makeup expert, Ashleigh with Lipstick and Locks, was onsite working with our bride to get her camera ready.

Celebrations Bridal and Prom provided the perfect gown for our beautiful bride. The baby blue tux they provided for our groom added just the right amount of whimsy and color.

Darrin and Keith, our hosts, coordinated numerous aspects of the shoot, one of which was the florals Equinox Floral provided. Equinox Floral is a full service florist shop and can be found on the grounds of the inn. Darrin crafted multiple floral pieces from the bridal bouquet to decorative elements for the ceremony arches.

Floral centerpieces highlighted the catering talents of The Golden Pineapple by Christelle. This master chef created edible art that was almost too perfect to eat.  In addition, Christelle provided Shrimp Linguini Alfredo, Classic Italian Tomato Basil Bruschetta, Caesar Salad, and a tray of vegetables with Creole Shrimp and Creamy Garlic Parmesan Mashed Potatoes. Her presentation was spot on!

Cakes by Danielle showcased her ability to coordinate design and artistry in creating a cake inspired by the venue’s vintage china.

The Equinox Inn offers an inclusive option that makes wedding planning effortless. Darrin and Keith pair together to create memorable events that include accommodations, wedding planning, delicious meals, florals, linens, tables; every need for the perfect day!

Capturing the special moments between the couple throughout the afternoon was Jessica Villarreal Photography. Our video of the event by Paul and Kat, the amazing videography team with Mobileboheme, will be coming soon.
